Episode One – ICE
The use of Amphetamines is nothing new. Since it was first formulated by a German chemist in the late 1800’s it has been found in almost every strata of society. From front line military personell seeking super human endurance ,in cold and flu and weight loss medications,, students popping pills to help them pull all nighters before a big test, or up the nose of everyone from bikers to ravers in its powdered form, as a society we have long been exposed to problems associated with amphetamine abuse.
But it’s been the recent arrival of a far more potent version of amphetamines a crystalline, easily smokable and inject able form that’s seen existing amphetamine related problems skyrocket.
The use of Crystalline Methamphetamine or as its most commonly known, by its street name ICE has reached unprecedented levels across the globe.
To get a get a better understanding of what is actually going on out there, beyond the usual headlines and panic , Transgression’s editor James Fry sought out two people who he figured would have a much better idea then himself. In the very first episode of the James Fry Podcast, join James as he speaks with the CEO of the iconic Noffs Foundation, Matt Noffs and Sydney actor and former Ice addict Timothy James Cooper.
